The Solar Panel PV EL Electroluminescence Inspection Camera Payload is a lightweight drone-mounted inspection system for DJI Matrice 400 and DJI Matrice 350 drones. Featuring a high-performance InGaAs SWIR sensor, it supports Daytime EL, Daylight EL, and Night EL inspection for accurate detection of micro-cracks, PID, broken cells, finger interruptions, and other hidden photovoltaic module defects in large-scale solar power plants.
The Solar Panel PV EL Electroluminescence Inspection Camera Payload is a next-generation drone-mounted inspection solution designed for utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) power plants. Equipped with a high-sensitivity InGaAs SWIR sensor, the system enables Daytime Electroluminescence (Daytime EL) inspection, allowing operators to perform high-resolution EL imaging without waiting for nightfall or using dark environments.
Designed specifically for DJI Matrice 400 and DJI Matrice 350 UAV platforms, the drone mounted EL inspection camera significantly improves the efficiency of large-scale solar farm inspections by combining drone mobility with advanced EL imaging technology. It accurately detects hidden defects inside photovoltaic modules, including micro-cracks, broken cells, finger interruptions, inactive cells, PID (Potential Induced Degradation), soldering defects, and other internal cell failures that are invisible during standard visual inspections.
Unlike traditional EL inspection systems that require nighttime operation, the PV EL camera supports Daytime EL, Daylight Electroluminescence, and conventional Night EL inspection modes, providing flexible inspection capabilities for different operating conditions. Real-time image preview, GPS positioning, and automatic defect location recording further simplify field inspections and maintenance planning.
With its lightweight payload design, it is ideal for rapid deployment over utility-scale solar farms, rooftop PV systems, and large photovoltaic power plants, delivering faster inspections, lower labor costs, and higher inspection efficiency.
Perform high-quality Electroluminescence inspections during daylight without requiring darkness or nighttime operation, significantly improving inspection flexibility and productivity.
Built with an advanced InGaAs SWIR sensor to capture clear EL images under challenging outdoor lighting conditions while maintaining excellent defect detection performance.
Fully compatible with DJI Matrice 400 and DJI Matrice 350, providing a lightweight and reliable UAV payload for large-area photovoltaic inspections.
Identify internal photovoltaic defects including:
View inspection images in real time during flight, allowing immediate verification of inspection quality and defect identification.
Automatically records GPS coordinates for every inspection image, enabling maintenance teams to quickly locate defective modules.
Compact and lightweight design minimizes drone payload weight while maximizing flight efficiency and inspection coverage.
Supports multiple inspection modes including:
Suitable for year-round outdoor photovoltaic inspections.
